Welcome to Waterford Township, Michigan, a great place to live, work and visit!  Waterford was established in 1834 and is centrally located in Oakland County with a population of 71,707.  It’s the fifth largest Township out of 1,242 in the State.   We are a “Lakeland Paradise,” with 34 lakes and have a lot to offer residents, businesses and visitors alike.
