First Aid Tips

Listed above are some of the most common medical emergencies that occur today.  Within each section is a brief description of the warning signs and symptoms and some helpful first aid tips and suggestions on what you can do and how you can help until the paramedics arrive.

These tips and suggestions are intended for informational purposes only and are not meant to replace the skills of qualified medical professionals.  First and foremost, always call 911

It is highly recommended that you educate yourself in or at least familiarize yourself with the basics of CPR and first aid, especially if you have young children or care for the elderly.  Certification classes are widely available in most areas and are usually offered at a minimal cost, if any.
