Skull Island Camp
Voyage over to your own private island campground for a fun filled day of activities such as fishing, paddle boating, swimming, zip lines, water trampolines, rope swings and a variety of other sporting activities. Daily treasure hunts, scavenger hunts are also included. Use one of the islands many metal detectors to scavenge and find your own real ‘pirate gold’
New this year education!! Every week a different visitor from a variety of nature settings will be coming to the island!! Don’t miss ‘Birds of Prey’ with Baby Owls!! ‘Forrest Creatures of the Night’ ‘Asian Carp and the Great Lakes’ ‘Sea Lampreys and how they KILL!’ Reptiles and Amphibians, The campers will have the chance to get up close and personal with nature this year!!
The Michigan D.N.R. will also be visiting Skull Island Camp several weeks this summer teaching the campers fishing safety and how to identify Michigan’s native fish and other invasive species that inhabit the Great Lakes. All campers will also receive a Junior Fishing License compliments of Skull Island Camp!!!
