Citizens Online Police Property Auctions (COPPA)

As the Chief of Police in Waterford Township, I am proud to introduce our new “Citizens Online Police Property Auctions” (COPPA), designed to provide our Citizens with the ability to bid on property that has been authorized for disposal. Citizens can log onto to http://bidcorp.com and register to bid on not only items from Waterford Township but other municipalities in Michigan. Citizens can place bids on selected items from the comfort of their home computer, office computer, laptop or tablet, etc.

In Waterford Township, we operate on the motto “Policing is a Partnership.” This project was developed through a partnership between our Citizens, Businesses, Bidcorp.com and our Staff. I want to “Thank” everyone for their dedication in developing COPPA.

Please feel free to use this new system to bid on items such as:
  • Vehicles
  • Jewelry
  • Electronics
  • Office Equipment
  • Obsolete Municipal Property
  • Lost, Stolen or Abandoned Property
  • Property from Narcotic Forfeitures & Seizures
Citizens who do not have a computer can access COPPA from a Library, Community Center, Internet Café and you can always stop in the Waterford Police Department and we will be glad to help you. If you have questions regarding COPPA, please contact Sgt Bartle at 248-618-6041. Again, thank you to everyone involved in this partnership and for making COPPA a reality in our Community!
