I would like to begin by thanking you for visiting our website. This is a great example of what Waterford Township is all about. In many areas we are a front runner with regard to new technologies. Waterford is blessed with a very professional staff of department heads and employees who are dedicated to the citizens of Waterford. Through their efforts we provide many quality services to the community. For details please refer to the department web pages on this website.
Waterford is the center of Oakland County in that the intersection of M59 and Crescent Lake Road is the exact center of both Waterford and Oakland County. The Township of Waterford is very close to well known entertainment facilities; the Palace, Meadowbrook and DTE Energy Music Theatre, formerly Pine Knob. We have nearby ski lodges, golf courses, and numerous lakes. We are the fifth largest township of the 1,242 in the State of Michigan with a population of 71,707.
Having been nearly a life long resident, I cannot emphasize how enthused I am about Waterford Township. As a citizen, I really did not realize everything I could have about our community. Since holding the position of Township Supervisor, which I am extremely honored to hold, I have been enlightened immensely with all that the Township of Waterford has to offer. It's a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
