TYPE OF GOVERNMENT

Waterford Township is a Charter Township regulated by the Charter Township Act adopted by the State Legislature in 1947.  The seven-member Board of Trustees consists of the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four elected Trustees.  Term of office is four years.  The open meeting of the Board of Trustees is held every second and fourth Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Township Hall Auditorium, 5200 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, Michigan.   If a legal holiday falls on a second or fourth Monday, the open meeting will be held on the Wednesday immediately following the holiday.  All meeting agendas are published in the newspaper the weekend prior to the meeting and are also available on-line the Friday prior to the meeting.

Cable Commission
