Roads
Waterford Township does not maintain or service the public or private roads in the Township. The public roads are under the jurisdiction of the Road Commission of Oakland County (RCOC). The Township doesn't have any authority over the roads or the RCOC. Please contact them directly for any road issues such as traffic lights, signage or snow removal. All other roads are designated as private roads and are the responsibility of the property owners.
Schools
Waterford Township residents attend three different school districts. Most of Waterford is within the boundaries of the Waterford School District. Portions of the remainder of the Township attend Clarkston or Pontiac schools.
